Foreign Minister Mehmet Sayyala said on Friday, that the European Union’s statements regarding the memorandum signed with Turkey are rational.

Sayyala stressed, in a statement to Arraed, that the union’s stance on this memorandum demonstrates its appreciation of the interests and sovereignty of states, and leaves the rule to international law and international coventions.

It is worth noting that the European Union confirmed, on Friday, that it would not expel the Libyan ambassador accredited to them in light of the memorandum of understanding between Turkey and Libya, and that they still recognize the GNA headed by Fayez al-Sarraj, and consideres it to be thier interlocutor.
