
House of representative member Rabia Borras said on Wednesday that the security and maritime cooperation agreement signed with Turkey came in time and the Libyan state has the right to sign this memorandum.
Borras added in a statement to Arraed that Libya with this agreement changed the virtual reality, which could not be imposed by the gas forum for the Middle East, led by Israel, Greece and Egypt, she added that the Libyan state has always been seeking peace in the Mediterranean basin and believes in a policy of exchange and cooperation in a clear and transparent scope with neighboring land and sea countries.
Borras explained that by signing the Memorandum, Libya will play an important role in the Mediterranean basin, North Africa and the Middle East. and commented “When we see the anger and panic that Greece, Egypt and Israel are making, after the signing of the memorandum, we feel that Libya’s borders are usually from Siwa to Carthage.”
It is worth noting that the President of the Presidential Council Fayez Sarraj signed on Wednesday, in Istanbul, with Turkish President Rejep Tayyip Erdogan on a memorandum of understanding between the two countries in the security and maritime fields.
