Justice and Construction party Misrata: continuing Hiftir shelling of the city represents organized terrorism and war crimes

The Party of Justice and Construction Misrata branch confirmed on Tuesday, that the continued bombing of “Hifter militias” of civilians and public service facilities in the city is organized terrorism and war crimes punishable by domestic and international law.

In a statement, the party condemned the bombing of Hiftir’s supporting warplanes of heavily populated civilian districts in Ruwaisat and Skirat in the city of Misurata, injuring dozens including women and children and causing material losses in public and private property

The party was surprised at the silence of the international community, and what it described as the “failure of the UN mission” to protect civilians and criminalize the aggressor which is intensifying its strikes on civilians indiscriminately, in an attempt to raise the morale of its defeated forces on the walls of Tripoli

It is worth noting that the warplanes supporting Hiftir targeted residential neighborhoods crowded with civilians in the city of Misurata, which led to the injury of 13 civilians with minor and moderate injuries
