Once again Hefter’s aircrafts bombed migrants and foreign workers in Libya on Monday morning by shelling a biscuit factory in the Wadi al-Rabie area containing migrant workers, killing 10 of them and injuring 35 others in an initial toll.
Aircrafts supporting Hifter had previously targeted migrant shelters in Qasr Bin Ghashir and Tajoura areas, leaving more than 50 migrants of different nationalities dead , before a report leaked from the UN Panel of Experts on Libya revealed that the UAE was behind the bombing of the Tajura shelter.
Homicide in Bin GhashirIn April, a group of Hifter soldiers bombed a center for immigrants in the Qasr Bin Ghashir area south of Tripoli by a tank, before storming the center, killing about 10 migrants and wounding others.
The English journalist “Sally Hayden”, on her official Twitter account at the time, that Hifter soldierss attacked the center for “illegal immigrants” in the area of Qasr Bin Ghashir, and carried out mass killings of unarmed migrants.

In early July, a war plane supporting Hiftar bombed a center for migrants in a massacre that left 53 immigrants dead and injuring 130 others
The BBC revealed that it had seen a secret UN investigation revealing that an Emirati warplane bombed the migrants’ shelter in Tajura.

This was the third time a warplane supporting Hiftir on Monday targeted the Sunbulah biscuit factory in the Wadi al-Rabie area, killing 10 workers, including two Libyans, the rest are foreigners, and injuring 35 others in an initial toll.
The question remains, would we see an international stance on this targeting, especially from the UN Security Council, which issued only condemnations demanding an end to violations without naming the perpetrators.
