Ministry of Health is discussing with the ambulance facility the possibility of buying new ambulance aircraft

The head of the Flying Ambulance Authority Fathi Naji said on Monday that there were consultations with the Ministry of Health to buy a type “BELL 429” helicopters, and annexed to the fleet of aircraft of the facility.

Naji discussed with the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Health Mohammed Issa, the liquidation of the general budget of the device, the training of new pilots and the provision of operating requirements for the aircraft, in addition to the maintenance of the aircraft 5A-DRK, which went out of service in 2015, expected to arrive from Malta to Libya in the middle of this month.

It is noteworthy that the Flying Ambulance last week retrieved one of the modern American aircraft owned by the device after maintenance and cessation of operation five years ago.
