The administration added, on its official page, that all the efforts made by the wise men and elders failed in the absence of the state authorities, expressing deep regret for the continuation water cuts during Eid, in an incident that did not occur since the start of the system in 1996, according to the administration.
The administration called on all to prevail the voice of wisdom, reason and conscience, distancing the system from all factional demands, and bargaining with water, which is a public service for all Libyans.
It is noteworthy that Al-Nahir system was cut off for more than two weeks after an armed group from Brak Al-Shati area cut off electricity on the wells and threatened to blow up and burn the components of the engineering system and stations unless it reached an agreement with the General Electricity Company regarding the power cuts from their city.
