Ovecha: There is no military solution to the Libyan crisis, and Germany supports the dialogue.

German Ambassador to Libya Olivier Ovecha, during his meeting with President of the Presidential Council Faiz Al-Sarraj, reiterated his country’s support to stop the attack on Tripoli, and to return to the political track and that Libya does not need a military solution to its crisis.

On the other hand, Al-Sarraj said during his meeting with Ovecha in Tunisia that the Libyan army will continue to confront the until the aggressor returns from where they came from, according to the official page of the Al-Wefaq government.

The two sides discussed ways to develop relations and cooperation in all fields, and help the Libyan people overcome the current crisis.

Germany’s ambassador to Libya, Oliver Ovecha, called earlier on all parties to stop the escalation immediately, return to the UN-led political process and respect all member states for the arms embargo imposed on Libya.
