Interior Minister Fathi Bashaga
tasked the special support force of the central district by securing the
coastal road from Gout al-Rumman gate, east of Tripoli, to the Al-Dafniyeh
Gate, west of Misurata.
The Interior Ministry explained that one
of the tasks of this force is to secure the coastal road and assign a number of
fixed and mobile patrols at all road intersections, traffic lights and
entrances to secondary roads, facilitate traffic, preserve public and private
property and maintain public security in a number of areas along the coast
road.
It is noteworthy that the Ministry of the Interior launched an emergency plan
to secure Tripoli in the shadow of the war in the outskirts of the capital.
