Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Bogdanov, during his meeting with President of the Presidential Council Fayez Al-Sarraj in Tunis, said that his country supports the convening of the national conference with the participation of all the political forces in the country.
In a statement published on its official website on Sunday, the Russian Foreign Ministry stated that Bogdanov had discussed with Sarraj ways to resolve the Libyan crisis under the auspices of the United Nations, focusing on the need to launch comprehensive negotiations as soon as possible.
The United Nations Mission in Libya announced that the National Forum will be held mid-next month in the city of Ghadames.
