Chairman of the High Council of State (HCS) Khalid Al-Meshri calls on the House of Representatives to agree with the High State to establish a mechanism to take over the incumbents of sovereign positions, and to end the existing division.
In his speech during the regular session of the council, Al-Meshri called on the State Council to speed up communication with the HOR according to the mechanism adopted between the two councils regarding the restructuring of the executive branch of the new presidential council, which stipulates that it consists of a president, two deputies and a separate prime minister.
The chairman of the House of Representatives (HOR) Aquila Saleh told the “Al-Ain” newspaper of the United Arab Emirates, last Monday, that the Council is moving towards the restructuring of the Presidential Council despite the objection of the Supreme Council of the State.
The House of Representatives and the high state agreed early November on the restructuring of the executive branch of the president and two deputies and the head of an independent government.
