The interior minister of the Al-Wefaq government, Fathi Pashagha, on Monday, authorized the official communication between the heads of departments, services, public administrations and security directorates and their counterparts in the eastern region.
The authorization came during the meeting held by Pashagha at the headquarters of the ministry in Tripoli with the Committee to unify the security efforts between all of the components of the ministry.
The security departments in Tripoli and Benghazi agreed, in a meeting in the city of Benghazi, upon an initiative to consolidate security efforts throughout the Libyan territory.
