World Health Condemns Assault On Al-Jalaa Hospital In Benghazi

The World Health Organization (WHO) condemned the attack on the Al-Jalaa hospital for surgery and accidents in Benghazi and the terror caused to the patients and public officials.

In a statement on Wednesday, the organization urged all parties to respect and avoid medical staff and to comply with international humanitarian law and to take all necessary precautions to ensure that such attacks are not repeated.

Gunmen entered last Tuesday, the intensive care unit at the hospital for surgery and accidents in Benghazi and fired gunshots and terrorized the staff of the department.
