NATO Is Ready To Contribute To The Establishment Of The Military And Security In Libya

NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg, on Tuesday, confirmed NATO’s support of the efforts of Al-Wefaq government and building the establishment of the Military and Security of state, and is ready to contribute.

The President of the Presidential Council, Faiz Al-Sarraj, discussed with Stoltenberg at the NATO headquarters in Brussels the developments of the political and security situation in Libya, stressing the importance of coordination and cooperation between the security and military institutions in Libya and Nato to take advantage of the organisation’s experience in institutional rehabilitation and upgrading capacities to establish security, according to media office of the President.

Stoltenberg said that  NATO supports the efforts of the United Nations Mission and the work plan of Ghassan Salama to achieve a political solution that unites the institutions of the state and end the state of conflict and division.

The head of the Presidential Council, Faiz Al-Sarraj before heading to Belgium, was on an official visit last Saturday to Jordan.
