Augila Saleh: Al-Sarraj is Imposed on Libyans from the West

The head of the House of Representatives (HOR), Augila Saleh, on Sunday, said that the President of the Presidential Council Fayez Al-Sarraj is imposed on the Libyans from the West.

In an interview on Channel 218, which broadcasts from Jordan, Saleh stated that the evidence of the West’s imposition of Al-Sarraj on the Libyans is clinging to him, adding that he was being punished by the international community because he had rejected the tutelage of the Libyan people.

The European Union imposed in March 2016 sanctions on a number of Libyan officials, including the Speaker of the House of Representatives, which includes the prohibition of travel and the freezing of financial assets.
