US Ambassador to Libya Resumes Work from Tunisia

The US Embassy in Libya has indicated that Ambassador Peter William Bodde resumed his duties as the embassy’s acting director in Tunisia.

On its official website, on Friday, the embassy said that the United States, under the leadership of Ambassador Peter, will continue its close partnership with Libyan and international partners, noting that the relations established by Peter among the different components of Libyan society are necessary, especially that “the Libyans are preparing to seize the decisive opportunity to put their country on the right track, for a brighter future for all its citizens. ”

The US Defense Secretary James Matisse said before that Ambassador “Peter” had a family situation with his father, which forced him to stay away for a period of time.
