The head of the presidential council, Faiz Al-Sarraj, said that Hashim Al-Abeidi, the brother of the bomber who was responsible for the “terrorist attack” in Manchester, will be handed over to Britain at the end of this year.
In a statement to the BBC on Wednesday, Al-Sarraj said that Libya is cooperating fully with the British authorities in this case, denying that there is any delay by the Libyan state.
He stressed that it was only a matter of time before Libyan officials who are working with the British authorities ended this step.
The Special Arradaa Force arrested in May 2017 Hashim Al-Abeidi, the brother of the bomber of the Manchester attack Suleiman Al-Abeidi, which killed 22 people.
