The EU Renews its Support for UN Plan to the Libyan Transitional Phase

The European Union renewed its strong support for the implementation of the United Nations Action Plan on Libya; to help the Libyans end the transitional phase through a comprehensive political process.

In a statement published on its official website, the Union confirmed its support for the work of UN Special Representative Ghassan Salama in meeting the immediate needs of the Libyans and achieving their goals and aspirations.

The EU has organized more than 70 meetings in Libya on ending the transitional phase and strengthening citizenship for women and young people.
