Italian Prime Minister Giuseppe Conte, on Monday, said that the Palermo conference, which would be launched shortly, has the support of international leaders and will not be just a chance to take pictures.
In his meeting with La Stampa newspaper, Conte said that his country is ready for the conference with all its determination and conviction and that the most important thing is to follow up on the work that will be agreed upon at the conference.
“I have spoken to many international leaders, and I have noticed the concern and support from them, regardless of individual participation,” Conte said.
The Palermo conference, hosted by Italy to push the political process forward in Libya, will be launched shortly.
