President of the Presidential Council Faiz Al-Sarraj, Chairman of the General Authority for Endowments and Islamic Affairs, called for the necessary preparations to commemorate the birth of the Prophet.
In a statement on Wednesday, Al-Sarraj urged the head of the authority to make all the arrangements in mosques and corners to revive the occasion, “As the religious scholars in the country usually do,” and to show joy in the streets and squares.
In his statement, Al-Sarraj called for the allocation of programs in the media to highlight the meanings and lessons of the Prophet’s biography to serve and strengthen the efforts of national reconciliation and to turn the page of hatred, according to his description.
The Islamic world commemorates the anniversary of the birth of the Prophet on November 12.
