The Ministry of Displaced Persons reported on Tuesday that it has registered 1825 displaced families from Ain Zara areas, Khallet Al-Furjan and Wadi Al-Rabie since the eruption of armed clashes south of Tripoli.
The ministry said in its report that 350 displaced families had arrived in the town of Tarhuna, 140 to Bani Walid, 37 families to Tajura, 200 to Qasr Ben Ghashir area and 950 families displaced to other areas in the suburbs of Tripoli and the regions.
The report added that about 30% of the population in the areas of clashes refuse to leave their homes, for fear of acts of forced robbery and looting of their property, explaining that a large part of these families suffer as a result of the exhaustion of food.
South of Tripoli is witnessing armed clashes between the forces of the Tripoli military area, and the Seventh Brigade, which resulted in the deaths and injuries among civilians and the displacement of many families.
