Al-Ittihad crowned Libya Handball champion

Al-Ittihad won the Libyan Handball Championship for the tenth time in its history, after beating Al-Ahli Benghazi 32-23, in the final round of the competition.

Al-Ittihad ended the first half in Wednesday’s game in Al-Bayda, host of the tournament, ahead of Al-Ahli with 17 goals to 10, strengthening its superiority in the second half and ultimately sweeping the championship title.

Seven teams participated in the finals: Al-Ittihad, Al-Ahli Benghazi, Al-Nasr, Al-Ahli Tripoli, Al-Shurta, Al-Murooj, Al-Hilal and Al-Jazeera.
