Libyan Coast Guard patrol seized on Saturday, a large Tunisian fishing rig fishing illegally in Libyan territorial waters.
The Libyan Navy spokesperson, Ayoub Qassem said the arrest took place on Saturday morning, 20 miles north of the coast of Abu Kammash.
Qassem said they had arrested four Tunisian fishermen who were on board the fishing rig named Fatim, indicating that they had held and dragged the rig to Zawiya port where the coast guard point is located.
The Libyan navy seized seven fishing boats from Egypt and Tunisia in the Libyan territorial waters in the west of the country last February and arrested 81 sailors on board.
