Education minister discusses activation of EU project for the development of education

The Government of National Accord (GNA) Minister of Education, Othman Abdul Jalil discussed with the Director of the British Council at the British Embassy in Libya, Anthony Calderbank the activation of the European Union (EU) program for the development of technical education in Libya.

Abdul Jalil discussed with the Council’s director the contribution of the Council in the preparation for the training courses for English teachers programs and coordination and cooperation with the Ministry to contribute to the design of the evaluation test for English teachers, which the Ministry of Education intends to work during the coming period.

The EU-funded technical and vocational education development project began in January 2013, but was suspended in June 2014, and is now being re-activated.
