Zuwara Security Directorate rescues 27 illegal immigrants

Zuwara Security Directorate rescued on Thursday 27 illegal immigrants from drowning after their dingy boat flooded at sea.

The Directorate spokesperson, Hafez Muammar said the migrants are of different nationalities, which are Libyan, Algerian, Tunisian and Moroccan, including five women and a girl and an elderly person, who was unable to move, adding that they are under investigation to track those behind their smuggling.

Zuwara Security Directorate arrested illegal immigrants ready to migrate or within rented houses exploited for this purpose.
