Zliten Municipal Council announced on Monday the installation of a new pump to empty the basin of the collection and treatment plant for sewage and rain in Al-Baza area in the city center and start cleaning the basin’s side from weeds.
The Council confirmed its official page to start processing for the maintenance of some pumps in the plant in the framework of limiting the presence of sewage in the basin.
The basin of the collection and treatment of sewage and rain in the area of Al-Baza witnessed the accumulation of sewage and rain since a period that caused the emission of foul odors and the spread of some insects harmful to the region.
