HCS member says Council ready to resume dialogue according to political agreement

The head of the dialogue committee on the High Council of State (HCS), Musa Faraj said on Tuesday that the position of the Council has not changed on dialogue with the House of Representatives (HOR), stressing their readiness to resume dialogue according to the mechanisms stipulated in the political agreement.

Faraj said in a statement to ArraedLG that efforts are still ongoing to communicate with the HOR to accelerate the exit from the transitional phase through referendum on the constitution, holding elections, uniting the executive authority and forming a single national government.

Informed sources told ArraedLG that a meeting will bring together members of the High Council of State and the House of Representatives next Thursday, in Tripoli in an attempt to resume the work of the dialogue committees of the two parties.
