Italian Deputy Prime Minister, Matteo Salvini said on Saturday lifting the arms embargo on Libya would be a viable option to solve the problems the country is experiencing.

Lifting of the embargo on Libya “will eventually be reflected on Italy and Europe،” the Italian AKI news agency quoted Salvini saying, adding that it would increase its effectiveness in combating human trafficking in Libya.
