Libya’s production of crude oil fell to between 600 and 700 thousand barrels per day after the clashes that broke out in the ports of Ras Lanuf and Es Sidra, a source from the National Oil Corporation (NOC) said on Wednesday.
According to Reuters, the source said the NOC is considering the possibility of converting some of the oil exports from the port of Ras Lanuf to Brega and Zwitina port.
The chairman of the National Oil Corporation, Mustafa Sanallah said last Thursday that the armed clashes between Haftar Forces and Al-Jidran Forces in the oil crescent region caused the loss of 400 thousand barrels of oil per day.
