Canada supports the outcome of Paris Agreement

The Director of the Maghreb Department of the Canadian Foreign Ministry, Troy Lulashnyk said on Tuesday that his country supports the outcome of the Paris meeting which brought together the Libyan parties.

During his meeting with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Government of National Accord (GNA), Mohamed Al-Sayala, Lulashnyk expressed Canada’s readiness to provide training programs in the field of capacity building for Libyan State institutions in the security and service fields.

Lulashnyk added that the Canadian authorities are looking forward to working with their Libyan counterparts; to stabilize the country, which in turn will be reflected positively on the North African region, he said.

The Director of the Maghreb Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Canada arrived on Wednesday in the capital Tripoli, accompanied by the Ambassador of Canada to Libya, Hillary Adams and political adviser to the embassy, ​​Kevin Gilhuli.
