Two bodies discovered at a farm in Sirte

The Detecting and Removal of Mines and Remnants of War department in Sirte Protection and Security Force found on Tuesday 2 decomposed bodies in a farm at Al—Taweela area in the city.

The department’s spokesperson, Salem Al-Amil said in a statement to ArraedLG, the remains were exhumed in coordination with the city’s public prosecutor and the Directorate of Security and Criminal Research in Sirte.

Al-Amil pointed to the cooperation of the Red Crescent branch in Sirte with them.

Sirte witnessed clashes and battles since 2011, and was under the control of IS in 2015.
