Italy welcomes reconciliation charter between Misurata and Tawergha

The Italian embassy in Libya welcomed on Monday, the signing of the reconciliation agreement between Misurata and Tawergha, saying it is a concrete step towards genuine and comprehensive reconciliation.

The embassy affirmed, on its official Twitter account, it was time to put all differences aside and start a real course of national reconciliation.

The two dialogue committees between Misurata and Tawergha signed on Sunday a peace pact between the two cities ending the crisis of the Tawergha displaced residents, which lasted nearly seven years.
