Red Crescent denies retrieving bodies of illegal immigrants

The Libyan Red Crescent denied on Monday, the removal of the bodies of illegal immigrants west of Pasteur field east of the country, saying it did not receive any communication in this regard.

In a statement on its official page, the Red Crescent asked the media to uphold the truth and accuracy when reporting on the work of the Crescent in all its branches.

Arab media and social media sites reported that the Libyan Red Crescent had retrieved 116 bodies belonging to illegal immigrants of Egyptian nationality in the Libyan Desert.
