Buraq Airlines announced that it has stopped flights to Tobruk because of the large cracks in the airport’s runway, which may damage the safety of the aircraft and passengers.
On Monday, the airline said all flights to Tobruk airport would be transferred to Benghazi airport until further notice.
In March, Tobruk airport administration called for the urgent maintenance of the runways and lighting at the airport, and completion of the reception hall, 24% of which carried out by a Turkish company.
