Agreement on charter of social peace between Misurata and Tawergha achieved

The head of the local council of Tawergha, Abdul Rahman Al-Shakshak, confirmed that the “social peace” agreement between the cities of Tawergha and Misurata has been accepted.

Al-Shakshak said on Sunday on the council’s Facebook page, the ratification of the charter will take place in the coming days by the local and municipal councils of the two cities, in the presence of representatives of the Libyan tribes and cities, pointing out that coordination between the two councils and the central military zone on taking the necessary measures to ensure the return of the people of Tawergha.

The residents of the city of Tawergha have been living in the Qarara Al-Qatef area since February, after return to their city efforts were blocked.
