Narcotic Control seizes more than 35 kilograms of cannabis in 3 Months

The General Directorate of Narcotics Control announced on Tuesday, it seized more than 35 kilograms of cannabis and 300 grams of cocaine between January and March.

The Directorate added that the number of narcotic pills seized in the same period amounted to 28460 tablets in addition to 3502 bottles of liquor.

In addition, it said that the number of cases registered during the same period reached 187, 176 of whom were Libyan suspects, 4 Arabs and 7 foreigners.

Last April, members of the investigation bureau of the General Directorate of Narcotics Control seized 65 kilos of cannabis in a shipment of shoes from Morocco.
