UNHCR: More than 368 thousand returnees from displacement in Libya

The United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) said, the number of returnees in Libya has reached 368,583, while 184,612 people are still displaced.

UNHCR said on its official page on Monday, 500 displaced families had returned to Al-Qwalish area, noting that the head of the UNHCR mission, Roberto Mignone, had discussed with local authorities their needs, including improving medical facilities, schools, homes and drinking water.

The UNHCR in Libya provided non-food items to about 23,406 displaced persons in 2018 compared to 113 thousand in 2017.
