Ambassador of Canada talks return of embassy to Tripoli with GNA FM

The Government of National Accord (GNA) Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mohamed Al-Sayala, discussed on Friday with Canadian Ambassador to Libya, Hilary Adams the possibility of the Canadian Embassy returning to Tripoli and ways to facilitate granting visas to Libyan citizens.

The meeting, which was held at the Libyan Embassy in Tunis, discussed means of enhancing bilateral relations between the two countries and providing opportunities for training and rehabilitation in various fields in the framework of strengthening state institutions.

The GNA Ministry of Foreign Affairs is seeking with a number of Western countries for their embassies to return working from Tripoli.
