3 GECOL cars were robbed and their drivers detained in Shuwairf

The General Electricity Company of Libya (GECOL) announced that a citizen was hijacked 3 cars carrying electrical materials in Shuwairf area, and the drivers were detained.

The company said in a statement that the same citizen robbed 3 fully equipped cars last year.

The company appealed to the security authorities and the municipality of Shuwairf and officials in the southern region to work on the immediate release of drivers and their cars and securing the roads.

The General Electricity Company is constantly complaining about the repeated theft of its equipment and the prevention of its employees from performing their duties
