The House of Representatives (HOR) member, Ali Al-Tikali, said on Sunday he hoped the election of Khalid Al-Mashri as head of the High Council of State (HCS) will affect positively on the Libyan condition.
Al-Tikali told ArraedLG, he waited as all Libyans waited for the results of the elections of the HCS and its impact on the ground, hoping that it will positively affect the achievement of consensus in Libya.
The High Council of State elected, on Sunday, Khaled Al-Mashri as the new president of the Council by 64 votes, compared to 45 votes obtained by his opponent, the former president of the Council, Abdulrahman Sewehli.
