Turkey seeking to exempt visa on some Libyans

Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu said on Saturday, Turkey is trying to exempt some Libyan citizens of certain ages from entry visas to Turkey and to facilitate their granting to other ages.

During his meeting with Foreign Minister Mohamed Al-Sayala on the sidelines of the ministerial meeting of the Non-Aligned Movement, Çavuşoğlu said the steps that his country will adopt will be temporary until the mutual exemption between the two countries returns.

The Turkish government has recently promised to partially lift the entry visa imposed on Libyans after they were imposed in 2015.
