Misurata and Tawergha Committees agree on terms ensuring return of Tawergha displaced residents

The head of the commission charged from Misurata to meet Tawergha officials, Fathi Bushala said on Thursday, the dialogue committees on Tawergha and Misurata agreed on several points to ensure the return of the people of Tawergha to their city.

In a statement to ArraedLG, Bushala said the meeting held on Monday at the Misurata Municipal Council dealt with the drafting of a charter of social peace between the two cities, adding that they agreed to hold another meeting in the next two days, describing the meeting as “positive.”

The Tawergha residents reside in the region of Qarara Al-Qataf, after the return to their city agreement was halted.
