The mayor of Sabha, Hamid Al-Khayali said on Sunday, the renewed clashes in Sabha resulted in the death of a citizen and the “serious” injury of another in the head.

Al-Khayali told ArraedLG, the situation in the city is unstable, pointing out that the city’s security directorate gave all employees of the security services the freedom to stay in their jobs or leave.

Al-Khayali pointed out that the clashes between all parties of the conflict are far from residential sites, till now.

Sabha witnessed armed conflict between Tabu and Awlad Suliman tribes months ago.
