Libyan embassy in Jordan denies visa provisions being lifted

The Libyan embassy in the Kingdom of Jordan confirmed Jordan did not lift visa requirements for Libyan citizens traveling to the Kingdom.

On Sunday, the embassy explained that those exempt from entry visas to Jordan are Libyan diplomatic passport holders and Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) and European Union country residency holders.

The Jordanian Foreign Ministry imposed in December 2015 visas for Libyan nationals coming to Jordan.
