Sabha Education Office postpones school due to clashes

The director of administrative affairs in the Office of Education Sabha, Mohammed Ismail said on Monday school was postponed this week because of the poor security conditions in the region, referring to the displacement of many people and the occurrence of a number of schools were clashes are taking place.

Ismail told ArraedLG, a number of educational institutions were used as shelters for families fleeing the clashes in the city, adding that the economic conditions played a role as well in the dely.

Sabha witnessed armed clashes for several weeks resulted in the displacement of many families, killing and wounding a number of civilians prompting the use of some educational buildings as temporary housing for those fleeing from the clashes.
