Health Ministry sending medical convoys to Sabha Medical Center

A delegation from the Health Ministry visited the Sabha Medical Center to determine the center’s needs and arrange for the medical convoy to be sent in the coming days.

The Sabha Medical Center spokesperson, Osama Al-Wafi told ArraedLG on Sunday, the visit came at the request of the crisis committee in the south and the Center’s management.

Al-Wafi added that the Center coordinated with a number of major hospitals in Tripoli and a number of private clinics to transfer the difficult cases from the Sabha Medical Center to Tripoli.

Al-Wafi confirmed that the Ministry of Health will provide a number of medical convoys in the coming days, according to the ministry’s plan to provide assistance to hospitals in the south.

Sabha Medical Center is the largest hospital in the south and has been suffering from a severe crisis in medicine and medical supplies.
