Tripoli municipal guards seize expired medicines

During inspection tours, the Tripoli Municipal Guards closed drug companies, bakeries, and food stores in the municipalities of Abu Salim, Souq Al-Jumaa and Tripoli Center for violating legal and health conditions.

The guard’s media office director, Yusuf Al-Qilouchi told ArraedLG, 90% of the bakeries were closed; for violating health specifications, and operating without licenses.

Al-Qilouchi pointed out that   members of the municipal guard seized several violations made by pharmaceutical companies such as offering expired medicines, lack of licenses and work without permission from relevant authorities.

The municipal guards patrol daily inspection of shops in a number of municipalities to control irregularities that do not apply to the legal and health regulations in Libya.
