HNEC extends abroad electoral registration till March 12

The head of the High National Elections Commission (HNEC), Emad Al-Sayeh confirmed on Monday, extending the registration period for Libyan voters living abroad to 12 March.

Al-Sayeh told ArraedLG, the decision to extend the registration period came at the request of Libyan citizens living abroad, who could not register because of some technical difficulties related to them.

The number of Libyans registered in the electoral register abroad exceeded 4,000 voters.
