GNA Foreign Minister discusses reconstruction projects in Libya with British ambassador

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Government of National Accord, Mohamed Al-Sayala discussed in Tripoli with British Ambassador to Libya, Frank Baker reconstruction efforts in Libya.

The ministry’s media office said on Saturday, Al-Sayala discussed with Ambassador Baker, in the VIP Hall in Maitiga International Airport, international efforts to bring peace to Libya, and access to security and stability.

The office added the minister had discussed with Baker the possibility of reconstruction projects in the cities and areas affected by conflicts, and the importance of the resumption of the British embassy’s work from the capital Tripoli as soon as possible, according to the ministry.

The British authorities appointed, in February, Frank Becker as ambassador to Libya, succeeding his predecessor Peter Millett.
