The Tripoli Security Directorate announced its readiness to secure 10,000 spectators in the match between Al-Ahli against Al-Madina next Thursday in Tripoli Stadium.
The Directorate spokesperson, AbdulBasset Tabal told ArraedLG on Sunday, the Directorate addressed the Sports Facilities Authority to express its willingness to secure the public in the lower stands only, because parts of the stands on the second and third floors of the stadium are falling apart.
On the other hand, the Football Federation spokesperson, Fatih Halbous said the Federation has no reservations about the entry of fans to the stadium, indicating that it is up to the Directorate of Security and the Sports Facilities Organization.
In December last year, the Sports Facilities Authority addressed the Football Federation and the Tripoli Security Directorate, stating that it was impossible for fans to enter the Tripoli Stadium’s upper stands, because parts of it is worn-out.
