The Netherlands opens a diplomatic representation office in Tripoli

Dutch Ambassador to Libya, Eric Strating announced the opening of a diplomatic representation office in Tripoli in preparation for the resumption of the embassy’s work.

The ambassador reiterated The Netherlands support for the Government of National Accord (GNA) and expressed its readiness to help Libya out of the crisis and contribute to resolving the political, security and economic hurdles, according to the GNA’s media office.

In November last year, the Dutch Embassy provided $ 1.65 million to support the High National Elections Commission (HNEC).
